Audit Template’s Custom Template Creator (CTC) allows program administrators to define reporting template(s) for data collection and reporting.

Designed for flexibility, CTC enables program administrators to efficiently navigate through configuration options, add or adjust data fields, and seamlessly publish new templates, all while ensuring alignment with ASHRAE Standard 211-2018.

A program administrator can use the Custom Template Creator (CTC) in Audit Template to configure and publish reporting templates in just a few steps.

  1. Program Setup: Once the program administrators communicate their requirements to the Audit Template team, the team will create a ‘Program’ instance and assign the program admin to it. The program admin will then be able to log in and create new reporting template(s) for their program.
  2. Reporting Template Setup: The program administrator selects a base template and customizes it with additional options or modules to align with the specific reporting requirements of the program. To get started, refer to Reporting Template Setup in CTC.
  3. Field Configuration: This step offers more granular control over the individual fields within the template. Administrators can customize field selection, define how they behave, and adjust field labels to better reflect program requirements. See Field Configuration – Overview for a detailed description of this section.
  4. Review and Publishing: Once the reporting template is defined, program administrators can save the selections and inform the Audit Template team, which will provide a final review before publishing. Once published, the template will be available for auditors to use.
