Use this section to enter the delivery dates, energy use and cost, for delivered bulk fuels (fuel oil, diesel, gasoline, kerosene, and liquid propane) for the selected Energy Reporting Years. The units for data entry are pre-defined based on the energy supply source and cannot be edited by the user. The table below shows the units of delivered energy use for each energy supply source.

This input is not required for reporting to New York City.  To include in New York City Energy Efficiency Reports, select the ‘BBL Delivered Energy’ form to enter aggregated delivery data for all buildings in a BBL for a specific energy supply source.  Entries and edits made to the tables on this screen will auto-populate the records of all of the BINs in a BBL.

Note regarding parking:  Parking garages and surface parking are not required for audit reporting and the delivered energy used for these spaces may be excluded from a building or property where possible.  This approach follows guidance provided by Portfolio Manager in the following documents:

Entering Data

Delivery data that applies only to a single building should be entered in the ‘Building Delivered Energy’ form. Delivery data imported from ESPM will only be imported into the ‘Building Delivered Energy’ form for a single building.

To begin, select an energy source from the Utility Type drop down menu and then select the green Add button.  Enter a delivery date, the amount of delivered energy use in units given for the selected energy source, and the energy cost for each entry.  The energy use in kBtu will automatically be calculated and displayed (see cells shown in green).

Note:  the energy use quantity entered should be the actual consumption (delivered minus remaining fuel).

Enter as many entries as necessary for a selected source to document the deliveries for the reporting years. A minimum of one entry is required within an Energy Reporting Year for it to be considered complete.  Average annual energy use and cost totals will automatically be calculated and displayed.

A maximum of 2 utility types may be selected for delivered energy. Select the green Save/Refresh button before adding a second utility type, or the data entered for the first utility type will not be saved.

To delete an entered row of data, select the red Remove button to the right of the entry.  To delete all of the delivery data entered for the building, select the red Remove All button and the OK button when prompted.
